visual studio code - VSCode: "bash: EOL: command not found" on startup -

on starting vscode (mac), integrated terminal shows following being executed:

bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash: eol: command not found bash-3.2$

i see each line being executed, can't work out source of is. note there 15 of them, used fewer. don't know whether relates number of extensions or not, it's not same number.

is there way can see relates to, , if example, it's configuration issue or bug?
