android - Tablet Device Dimensions imply orientation? -

so out of box question ..

i wanted know; dimensions of android tablet imply orientation ??

in other words have android tablet, x width, , y height.

if x > y imply orientation of screen in landscape , x < y imply screen portrait??

i think case .. need confirmation !

yes. landscape defined width>height.
